Director, Founder and Lead Teacher: Gargi N Das

Gargi Das is an AMI (Association Montessori International) certified teacher. She was trained in the Montessori Method by one of Dr Maria Montessori’s students, S. R. Swamy, who also worked with Mr Mario Montessori and A.M. Joosten. Ms Gargi is also a Massachusetts state certified preschool lead teacher and program director.

Since 1982, Ms Gargi has worked in schools in the United States and abroad, including India, New Orleans, LA, and Lowell, MA. She has worked in private and public Montessori schools, and public schools. Ms Gargi has worked with unique and diverse populations, including low income communities and recent immigrants. Before starting Evergreen Montessori House, Ms Gargi worked as an ESL and Special Needs teacher.

Evergreen Montessori House was founded in 1993 to meet a very personal need: to provide a quality Montessori preschool education to her daughters. For over 20 years Ms Gargi has worked as the Program Director and Lead Teacher at Evergreen Montessori House.

Program Coordinator and Preschool Teacher: Mrin Das

Ms Mrin has been a part of Evergreen Montessori House since its inception. As Ms Gargi’s older daughter, she has benefited from the educational program at EMH and uses her experience in her roles as preschool teacher and program coordinator.

Ms Mrin is a certified preschool teacher. Before returning to EMH, Ms Mrin worked as a scientific researcher. She soon realized that research is not her passion, and discovered that she is better suited to work with children and developed programs to promote learning in young children, particularly by expanding the enrichment program to include science based activities.

Ms Mrin has also worked with developmentally delayed infants and students from low income communities as a developmental specialist. She is currently earning her MBA and manages Evergreen Montessori House.

Program Advisor and Coordinator: Michael Daily

Mr. Daily began his career working with MIT start-ups. He has over 20 years of senior management experience as a COO/CFO of two emerging growth companies. He has over 20 years of management consulting experience.

Mr Daily is the founder and Executive Director of Executive Service Corps in Northern New England. He is a board member of Executive Service Corps – United States, a former board member of the NH Center for Nonprofits, and a member of the Leadership NH class of 2011.

He is a graduate of MIT and the Harvard Business School.  Mr. Daily holds Certificates in Meeting Facilitation and Professional Coaching from the University of Southern Maine.

Two of his grandchildren attended Evergreen Montessori House.
