About Us

Evergreen Montessori House was established in 1993 to meet a very personal need: to provide high quality preschool education to the founder’s children. Since its inception, the staff at EMH has worked to ensure each child in our program receives the same quality of education and care that we would give our own children.

Our director and founder is a Montessori teacher, accredited by the Association Montessori International (AMI), the original and most authentic form of Montessori that preserves the standards established by Dr Maria Montessori and requires teachers to complete rigorous training for certification.

Our mission is to educate the whole young child and teach them the skills required for lifelong success.

Vision

Following the Montessori Method, EMH will create a prepared environment that is engaging and supports learning and development in children between the ages of 15 months and 6 years. Students will graduate with a love of learning; a respect for themselves, others and the community; the skills required to succeed as global citizens; and will have a solid foundation to build upon for lifelong academic and personal success.
