Choosing a Preschool
There are many licensed preschools in Dracut and much more in the Merrimack Valley. How do you choose the one that is best for your child? The place to start is with your friends and relatives who have had a preschool experience. About half of our students are referrals from satisfied parents.
If this process is not successful, it is time to start searching. The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care has great resources for helping families find accredited high quality schools in the Commonwealth. Visit their website for tips on finding an accredited school in your area.
You can also find a listing of all schools in the Yellow Pages. Additionally, some employers have a referral list in their Human Resources Department.
When choosing a school, it is always important to schedule a visit. Make sure you are able to see the classrooms, observe the teachers and talk to the director or admissions representative. Always ask about accrediation and make sure teachers are certified and are experienced educators.
After your visit, ask your family, friends and neighbors about the school's reputation. Most schools are happy to provide you with a list of references. Additionally the testamonials included on schol websites give you a general idea of how many parents feel about the educational program.
Come visit us. Make an appointment with the Director to visit the school during the school day. Prospective parents are always welcome, and we encourage their children to visit as well.
We offer a safe, well maintained, and clean place for your child to live and learn the Montessori way.
